RiekerEngineered Solutions
Rieker Engineered Solutions bring products, configuration options and supporting components together around a defined measurement and operational requirement.
The measurement system must work as one.
Some applications cannot be addressed by selecting a sensor alone. The sensing technology, range, output, housing, connection, display and supported communication or response pathway must work together within the operating environment.
Configure the system around the application.
Engineered Solutions can bring sensing, connectivity, outputs and supporting components together into a defined measurement system.
Analog and digital outputs
Cables and connectors
Barriers for applicable hazardous-location systems
Displays and readable outputs
Multi-sensor arrangements
Switching and alerts where supported
Communications and downstream response pathways
Application-specific configuration and testing
From measurement requirement to verified system.
Each stage helps define the complete measurement arrangement around the actual application.
Define the measurement requirement
Define what needs to be measured, where the measurement occurs and what result the application requires.
Select the sensing technology
Select the appropriate sensing technology and configuration for the application.
Determine system requirements
Determine range, accuracy, outputs and environmental requirements.
Define connections
Define cables, connectors and barriers where required.
Add displays and arrangements
Add displays, consoles or multi-sensor arrangements where needed.
Configure response pathways
Configure switching, alerts or communication pathways where supported.
Verify the resulting system
Verify the resulting system against the application requirement.
A defined system matched to the requirement.
The resulting configuration is built around the measurement requirement, environmental conditions and operational response needed by the application.
A defined sensing configuration matched to the application requirement
Cable, connector and barrier definitions where required
Display, console or multi-sensor arrangement where needed
Application-specific configuration and testing
Engineered for demanding applications.
Example environments where configured sensing systems can support monitoring and measurement requirements.

Hazardous Industrial Environments
Industrial process monitoring applications where sensing equipment must operate within defined environmental requirements.

Marine and Offshore Monitoring
Monitoring applications involving marine structures, offshore equipment and demanding operating environments.

Equipment and Positioning
Equipment positioning applications using configured sensing systems to monitor orientation and movement.

Hazardous-Location Campaign Visual
Example application imagery illustrating inclinometer-based monitoring in industrial environments.

Marine Monitoring Campaign Visual
Example application imagery illustrating inclinometer monitoring in marine environments.
Configuration depends on the application.
Mechanical inclinometers provide gravity-based visual indication. They do not provide electrical signal outputs or switching and must not be shown as part of connected alert, communication or response pathways.
Compatibility, certification, included components and system behavior depend on the selected products and configuration. No specific product combination is approved by this conceptual prototype.
